St Winefride's Chapel - The Chapel is above the Well Crypt, and is an integral element of the original 16th Century design. It is in the care of CADW (Welsh Historic Monuments.) The key is available from the Well Custodian during normal opening hours. There is a returnable deposit of £5.00, but no additional charge for entry to this impressive chapel.


The Divine Liturgy is sung in St Winefride's Chapel at the Annual Pan-Orthodox Pilgrimage

Pilgrimages - Organised pilgrimages & events, large and small, and informal groups, to which all pilgrims and visitors are welcome at any time, are made to the shrine throughout the year.




The Daily Well Service and pilgrimage Season for 2015 opens on Pentecost (Whitsunday) with the St Vincent De Paul Society, Wrexham Central Council Pilgrimage organised for the Disabled at 14.30hrs.




The National Catholic Pilgrimage this year will be held on Sunday 28th June 2015 and will be led by Bishop Peter Brignall, starting at St Winefride`s Church, Well Street, at 14.30hrs. On leaving the church the pilgrimage will process down the Well Hill to the Well Gardens, where Mass will be concelebrated at 15.00hrs followed by veneration of St Winefride`s Relic.
